Last week i have upgraded my laptop from Windows XP to Windows 7 Enterprise. I am using IBM Lenovo 3000/n100 model laptop.
After installing the operating system and windows udpate alll my required drivers and udpates and hotfixes got installed properly. But while checking the device manager there are 2 errors showing for not able to get the drivers. Those are 'Base System Device'. While checking that entry, i am not able to get exact which driver is missing.
Lenovo Drivers Download by Lenovo Group Ltd. -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager. In Windows 7, click Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager. It is a software utility that automatically finds, downloads and installs the right driver for your system. You can even backup your drivers before making any changes. For automatically detect, fixes missing and updating Lenovo Base System Device device drivers, Install the latest official drivers and keep your Windows device drivers always up-to-date, you can use DriverFinder.
I have tried on many ways to udpate through Windows Update and Lenovo Update but i am not able to get / identify which driver is missing. With this mail i am requesting you to kindly provide me a tool from which I can able to get the driver details for the installation. Regards Srinivasan R.
